The Lighthouse
In June 2018 I was part of a small team of artists who built a wooden structure called ‘The Lighthouse’, it served as the centre point of Nowhere festival, in Spain.
The structure stood just over 10 meters tall. Inside, a double helical staircase allowed festival goers 360˚ views of the site.
Before construction began I was asked to build a 3D model of the structure in CAD featuring cutaways and light projections. I was part of the core build crew, tasked with measuring and cutting the hundreds of wooden elements on site, and then the construction.
